RNCM brand new WW1 exhibition!

The RNCM is now the proud owner of two brand new museum grade display cases. This means that we can proudly display are unique and intriguing archive material in our public reception space. First in: WW1 of course!

Taking material from our lovely displays in the glorious Wolfson Reading Room of Central Library, you can see a selection of items from the Hallé Concerts Society archives, the Henry Watson Music Library and our own collection here at the RNCM.

Nip in and have a look.

Coming to next week’s free WW1 concerts? Have a perusal of the material and let us know what you think.

The concerts are Monday 21st at 13:15 and Wednesday 23rd at 13:15 both in the Carole Nash Recital Room by the cafe and then on Thursday 24th at 13:35 in the Concert Hall. All concerts will be showcasing different pieces we’ve picked out in our research so do pop along.

On Monday after the concert we will be chatting about our research so if you’d like to hear more or have any questions for us, swing by!
